Sewing skills and Boomerang Bags

Learning new skills and raising funds

The Boomerang Bag Project aims to address social isolation in emerging migrant communities of Mildura and pass on skills off farm.

The sewing space is an opportunity to share stories, practice English and build friendships.

Between seasons and when the farm work is done, the Food Next Door farmer have been learning sewing skills.

They have been making Boomerang Bag to raise fund for the coop.
